The Director of Construction will bring leadership, direction and oversight to the engineering, planning, start-up and construction phases of a self-performing construction project.
They will demonstrate a competency around safe working conditions, a quality project, developing leaders, construction methods, fundamental project management, planning, budgeting, contract negotiations, procurement, engineering, managing sub-contractors/suppliers and change management.
This individual must demonstrate the capability of building relationships and serving customers through excellent collaboration and communication.

years of Construction experience and a proven construction background5
years of solar construction project experience requiredBachelor's degree or equivalent (equivalent is 8 years of construction experience) in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management or related field from an accredited universityDemonstrated experience in Construction Management and leadership of peopleStrong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communicationMust have a valid current driver license, eligible for corporate vehicle insurance coverageMust have a valid current passport for travel (including air travel) outside the U.
SExtensive travel required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
