Job duties include:
- Study economic and statistical data in area of food commodities
- Conduct in-depth commodities market analysis through technical reports
- Compile, analyze, and report data to forecast market trends in food commodities - Study the socioeconomic impacts of proposed legislation
- Formulate policies and plans to interpret the food commodities market
- Develop economic standards used in forecasting trends in the food commodity market
- Provide advice and consultation on economic relationship to businesses, public and private agencies, and other employers
- Forecast production and consumption needs of food commoditiesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
