looking for a 5 Axis (cell) Programmer with Ultrasonic Core Cutting (AGFM CNC 6000 - Controls)
Responsibilities:
Review blueprints and specifications for a job
Calculate where to cut or bore
Shape steel, aluminum, titanium and other materials
Determine speed that material is fed into machine
Select tools, process and parts for the job.
Plan the sequence of cutting and finishing operations
Position work piece on drill press, lathe or milling machine
Program machining center utilizing Siemens 840D software
Set up, and operate 5 Axis CNC machines for the accurate machining of custom parts
Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part and sample work pieces
Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
Determine fabrication tolerances
Qualifications:
5 years machinist experience required w/technical, trade or vocational schooling preferred
Experience with Ultrasonic Core Cutting strongly desired
Able to read electronic blueprints that deal with fabrication tolerances and parts.
Evaluate product quality and make programming adjustments as needed for custom parts production
Resourceful, reliable and independent
