POSITION
Summary:
The Mortgage Advisor - Consumer Direct will be responsible for generating mortgage loan production from company-provided leads, existing portfolio, and various other third-party providers. Active licenses in multiple states - or the ability to get licensed in multiple states - are required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Originate individual loan production at or above established metrics from management.
Connect, build and leverage client relationships to complete sale.
Utilize sales process and scripts to help build company brand.
Obtain customer commitment, request initial documents and submit to Sales Assistants to verify documents for processing.
Follow documented Stonegate origination procedures in detail.
Determine best program for customer to meet their needs.
Build rapport and create trusting Loan Agent-Client relationship through honesty, integrity and product knowledge.
Exceed all daily, weekly and monthly sales targets set forth by management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
OTHER FUNCTIONS


Desire to take personal responsibility to complete tasks and solve problems.
Ability to perform tasks and complete projects with minimal supervision.
Represent Stonegate Mortgage Corporation in a professional manner by dressing professionally daily while in the office or when attending events.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or
Experience:


High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
Two (2) + years of mortgage sales experience in a call center environment required.
Demonstrated success in mortgage sales and/or sales management.
Proven track record of successful phone sales.
Proficiency in relevant computer applications; i.e. CRM, LOS.
Bilingualism a plus.
Individual NMLS state licensure required for multiple applicable states.

Thorough understanding of all products from FNMA, Freddie, HARP, FHA and VA.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong negotiation skills.
Ability to multitask and effectively manage time.
Ability to communicate effectively - both in written and verbal form.
Desire to take personal responsibility to complete tasks and solve problems.
Ability to perform tasks and complete projects with minimal supervision.
Desire to have a basic understanding of the mortgage process/industry.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
