CNC Cell Leader

looking for a 5 Axis (cell) Programmer with Ultrasonic Core Cutting (AGFM CNC 6000 - Controls)
Responsibilities:
o Review blueprints and specifications for a job
o Calculate where to cut or bore
o Shape steel, aluminum, titanium and other materials
o Determine speed that material is fed into machine
o Select tools, process and parts for the job.
o Plan the sequence of cutting and finishing operations
o Position work piece on drill press, lathe or milling machine
o Program machining center utilizing Siemens 840D software
o Set up, and operate 5 Axis CNC machines for the accurate machining of custom parts
o Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part and sample work pieces
o Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
o Determine fabrication tolerances
Qualifications:
o 5 years machinist experience required w/technical, trade or vocational schooling preferred
o Experience with Ultrasonic Core Cutting strongly desired
o Able to read electronic blueprints that deal with fabrication tolerances and parts.
o Evaluate product quality and make programming adjustments as needed for custom parts production
o Resourceful, reliable and independent
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
