Summary:
The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department.
Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources team Compile and update employee records Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.
) Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations Assist with new hire onboarding Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews Assist with Timecards in ADP Requirements and skills Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular) Hands-on experience with an HRIS Familiarity with ADP software Basic knowledge of labor laws Excellent organizational skills Strong communications skills Education and
Experience:
Associate's degree in related field required.
Prior related office experience preferred.
