50 an hour 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago We are looking for a part-time to full-time Kennel Attendant/Veterinary Assistant to add to our team! Willing to train, experience of course would be amazing but not required.
Have people told you before that you have an amazing work ethic - then we want you! Job tasks include:
Responsible for day-to-day care of patients and boarders, including feeding, watering, cleaning, walking, bathing and monitoring the well-being of dogs, cats, and occasionally other companion animals.
Must have sufficient strength, mobility and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects (up to 40 lbs), maintain the high standards of hospital's cleanliness (our hospital is over 4,000 sq ft), the dexterity and confidence to administer medications and the ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease.
It is also essential that you have the ability and willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for our boarded and hospitalized pets.
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
Previous experience is welcomed but not required.
